Lips | Deep Red

This is my favourite lipstick for the colder months as it' the perfect deep red for the lips. In the image below it looks very similar to MAC's Rebel, but in person the colour is a deeper darker red. The lipstick is Rimmel's Kate Moss in 107.

Top iPhone Apps.

I'm pretty much always glued to my phone and it's probably because I have so many good apps.
Polagram is an app that allows you to print photos directly from your phone, you can choose from normal square frames or a polaroid frame. You can also make a phone case, i chose this picture of my dog for my phone case and absolutely adore it.
Instagram is an app I think most people know where you can share photos and videos. I check it daily, as I love being nosey and seeing everyones photo's but also sharing my own.
Twitter, again I'm just so nosey. I like to share my thoughts and ideas on twitter and its great way to share with your friends. Do I have so say more?
Bloglovin. The place to follow all my favourite bloggers and being up to date with blog posts. I enjoy finding new blogs to read and not just fashion and beauty, I've currently been reading home and food posts.

Handbag Essentials.

What's in my bag posts are without doubt my favourite as I'm just very nosey. So when a new addition comes along I thought it's only right to share a peek inside with you.
I usually carry around a bag this size, recently it's been this Celine bag. It's always handy as it fit's my daily life in, it's durable and plus it's my favourite colour. Of course I always have my purse with me, my purse is by Mulberry and it's in this beautiful tan colour, very simple.
I've started to carry a notebook and pen around with me everywhere I go now, mostly for blog ideas and sometimes to doodle. Although it's not in the image above I also carry around my Ray-Ban Aviators.
I always take my iPhone 5, my earphones, my keys and my diary. My diary always comes in handy, as sometimes I can be a little forgetful, this just helps me organise my life. I won't walk anywhere without putting some music on, currently I'm really into Ariana Grande, Jhené Aiko, Ben Howard and Beyoncé.
I carry around a few beauty essentials its normally what's on my lips that day, and then rosy lips Vaseline and a Chanel lip gloss in 179.

What do you think of my essentials?

MAC Haul

So this post is a bit overdue as these are not recent purchases anymore but here it is anyway. Here's a few bits from MAC as I recently had a bit of a splurge and bought a few things on my wish list. First was a lipstick in Patisserie which is showing as pink in the image but is actually more of a nude with a slight pink tone and I've probably worn every day since. Next is a mineralize skin finish in Global Glow, it is absolutely stunning. It's a velvet powder with a metallic finish perfect for highlighting and creating that bronzed glowing look. Some essentials include a duo sharpener and brush cleanser.
I've wanted to experiment with colour on my eyes, so as a small step I purchased a eye liner in Prunella which is shimmering black plum, maybe i'll try a blue or a purple next. The last thing is Opulash Optimum Black Mascara, I've wanted to try a new mascara for a while as I was purchasing a few things from MAC, I decided to give one a try. After reading some reviews this one seemed like a good choice, it say's it will last for 15 hours!

Any good recommendations from MAC?

Top 6 Brushes.

These are some of my brushes that I use daily which I thought I would share with you all. The top two brushes are from Real Techniques, the first is a blush brush and the second a powder brush. I actually use the blush brush for bronzer as I don't really wear blush that much and the powder brush I  actually do use for powder. It applies the powder really easily, as it is quite large which is great for powdering all over the face.
The next two brushes are from MAC and are both eye brushes. First is a blending brush which I think everyone on the blogging world has. It is indeed the 217, it's just great for blending as its quite fluffy yet it's tapered which is good for applying shadow on the lid. The 219 is the newest brush in my collection, it's a pencil brush that works well for precision and smudging out eyeshadow along the lash line. Next we have a beauty blender, I actually got this from amazon, and I have been using this daily for my foundation and concealer. It leaves my skin with a flawless finish, and I've had many compliments may I just add. The best way to use a beauty blender is damp, all you have to do is squeeze under the tap a few times. Lastly is the lash-brow groomer by Real Techniques, I use this mainly to separate my lashes after I've applied mascara.

These are my favourite brushes, what are yours?

The Travel Bucketlist.

I can think of so many places I would like to visit however this list was never ending so I narrowed it down to my top five. I really hope to travel as much as I can in my lifetime and these are my top destinations. I've never made a bucket list before so this was quite fun, enjoy.

Number one. New York. I've wanted to visit New York for a while now, my parents have been a few times now, and yes I am very jealous. They've always gone at Christmas time and loved every second of it. It's one of the most exciting cities in the world and theres so much to do. I can't wait and I haven't even booked it yet. I have quite a long list of things to do!

Number two. Greece. It looks absolutely gorgeous for a week away with someone special. It's something about the beautiful buildings and the crystal clear waters that look incredible, a little pricey but maybe sometime in the future.

Number three. Dubai. The shopping just looks amazing and the weather too. The Arabic architecture looks beautiful and also has stunning views. Somewhere where I would love to visit to enjoy the sun and the city.

Number four. Hawaii. It looks perfect for a summer holiday getaway, the beaches look gorgeous.  Perfect for swimming with sea turtles and dolphins.

Number five. Paris. I've been dropping hints to my boyfriend for a while now, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon, so for now I can just dream. Paris has many beautiful and historic buildings to see including The Eiffel Tower and The Arc de Triomphe. As one of the fashion capitals of the world, I cannot wait to shop here, I think I would have to save a lot of money if I ever visited.

Anywhere that you really want to visit?

Favourite Fragrances.

These are my top three perfume picks which I wear all year round, they include YSL Elle, Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb and Ellie Saab. I'll tend to stick to a certain fragrance for a few weeks or so as I become attached to the smell. My current favourite fragrance is Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf, it's one of my all time favourite smells. It's described as a floral explosion which it definitely is. I just adore the bottle, the bottle is in this diamond shape which looks beautiful, and looks nice in my room, bonus. Ellie Saab is what I tend to reach for when I'm going out for the evening, as the floral scent is much richer. Elle is my 'casual fragrance' as its very fruity and feminine, still gorgeous, perfect for every day use.
What are your favourite fragrances?

A few new things...

So I found myself in boots again, I was picking up some essentials like shampoo and conditioner, and then I wandered over to the beauty section and picked up a few items...

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velevet Lipstick in 02 - These have had some really good reviews on the internet world and I wanted to try one out for myself. The shade is a pink-toned berry red which I think will be a good choice for the colder months.

Rimmel Brow This Way Styling Gel in Clear - I've been using another brow gel and I wanted to try out a cheaper version. I'm hoping this will do the trick as my eyebrows always need setting as they're so thick.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Eyeshadow in 502 - I really don't need another taupe eyeshadow but when I saw this on the counter, I thought it looked gorgeous and I had to pick one up. I've already tried it on, and it's lovely on the lid, a nice taupe metallic shade but with not too much shimmer. It's lasted for a few hours now. So far so good.

Hope you're all having a lovely day!
